Critical Responsibility
By utilizing the PilotRadar platform, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft and adherence to all FARs (Federal Aviation Regulations). PilotRadar is a networking tool only.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PilotRadar, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PilotRadar, Inc.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Pilot Responsibility
PilotRadar connects pilots for networking and coordination purposes only. Users are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring their pilot certificates and medical certificates are current and valid
- Conducting proper pre-flight planning including weather briefings and NOTAMs
- Adhering to all applicable FARs (Federal Aviation Regulations)
- Ensuring the airworthiness of any aircraft operated
- Complying with FAR 61.113(c) regarding cost-sharing arrangements
Prohibited Activities
Using PilotRadar to facilitate illegal Part 135 operations or unauthorized commercial carriage is strictly prohibited.
Automated extraction of pilot credentials or flight telemetry for external databases is prohibited.
Misrepresenting your pilot certifications, ratings, or flight hours on your profile is a violation of these terms.
Using the messaging system to harass, threaten, or demean other users violates our community standards.
Liability Limitations
PilotRadar acts as a networking conduit only. We do not provide insurance, nor do we certify the airworthiness of aircraft listed on the platform. All users fly at their own risk.
PilotRadar is not liable for:
- Any accidents, incidents, or damages arising from connections made through the platform
- The accuracy of pilot credentials submitted by users
- The airworthiness of aircraft listed in the rental database
- Any financial disputes between users regarding cost-sharing arrangements
Accounts & Verification
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to immediately notify PilotRadar of any unauthorized access to your account.
PilotRadar reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, present false credentials, or pose a safety risk to the aviation community.
Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team. Upon termination, your profile and associated data will be removed subject to our data retention policies and any applicable legal requirements.
PilotRadar reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.
